Optus RockCorps 2013 Concert
The Script, Tinie Tempah, The Potbelleez and Guy Sebastian rocked out at the Hordern Pavilion on the 11th of April 2013.
Thursday, 11th of April, with the Hordern Pavillion filled to capacity, the Optus RockCorps concert kicked off with Guy Sebastian leading the charge. Working across his full spectrum of songs, he had the whole crowd singing along.
Amping it up a notch, The Potbelleez were next up and their infectious sounds had the crowd going crazy. Hit-after-hit, the boys never let the energy drop!
Travelling all the way from London, Tinie Tempah got straight to business. Arriving Wednesday, he got off the plane and headed straight to volunteer, doing his 4 hours and earning his spot. 24 hours later, he was on stage, giving the Optus RockCorps crowd a show they will never forget. A true superstar!
To finish the night, The Script rounded everything up perfectly. Having a massive back catalogue, they picked a great selection of the old hits and mixed them in with the new. What a stellar performance!
A total of 20,000 hours of volunteering had been achieved across the last two months. Seeing the potential of our community and the will of so many to make a difference, really lets you know you are part of a something bigger… A global movement.
